PERSONAL: Sebastian Janikowski was born on March 2, 1978, in Walbrzych, a small city in Poland. Played football only in his senior season at Seabreeze High in Daytona Beach, Florida...Was 31 of 31 on extra points and 9 of 15 on field goals...Nailed a career-long 60-yarder against Palatka for the second-longest field goal in state history...Also hit field goals from 56, 53 and 51 yards...Had just two kickoffs returned and 80 percent went through the end zone...First-team All-USA selection by USA Today and also earned All-American accolades...Selected to play in the Florida-Georgia All-Star Game...Listed as the state's top kicking prospect on the Florida Times-Union Super 75...Scored a state record 69 goals as a senior for the school's soccer team....Former member of the Polish national under-17 soccer team...Turned down various soccer contract offers in South America to enroll at Florida State.
